About us
Open since 1996, Gina’s Nursery is a home from home, child centered provision for your little one. As an experienced and highly trained early years practitioner, Gina combines the UK early years foundation stage objectives with a flexible approach, embracing children from a huge variety of cultures, countries and backgrounds.
Gina’s Nursery is professional and personal, experienced yet always open to new learning and most importantly, enables your child to learn through self directed play and well chosen equipment to develop their physical, emotional and social skills. The nursery accepts children from 2 to 3 years old.
Parents are kept informed of their child’s progress and learning daily through an online learning journey book; parents can always talk to one of the many experienced staff about any concerns they may have.
OUR CLASSROOMS
In nursery there are three main classrooms offering a wide choice of child and teacher led experiences and resources, for example;
- A main room where the children arrive and leave from with a variety of free play activities, sensory play and arts and crafts.
- A room for messy play activities, natural resources and cooking.
- Our well stocked library room not only provides quiet spaces but also opportunities for circle time stories, songs, discussions, games and project work.
- In addition, there is a large homely central area for fun gatherings, for example, when enhancing physical skills on our soft early years play gym.
- Our outdoor area has a range of large and small apparatus to inspire imaginations, physical skills, risk taking and communication.
